Spring

Hello Family.
Just stopping in to say hi!. Not like anyone is going to read this or answer. Ha Ha.
I am trying to do some research on grandmas line. Wow its difficult. But i have found some neat websites. Found a really neat map of Prussia and an article about the Techono knigths, Don't know if i spelt that right but if you think about it, maybe one of our ancestors could have been a Knights templar. Interesting don't you think but we may never know because it is so hard to search this line. Pray for some doors to open or even a crack in a window would be nice.
Love you all
Deb

Doyle's mom passed away on March 19th.
It was a sad but happy occasion. She had been in so much pain and they brought her home to die. She was the sweetest lady ever. Never complained even when she was in so much pain. When we would ask her how she was doing she would just say oh fine, when you knew darn well she wasn't. She would never tell the nurses how much pain she was in. She would always say, "What will be, will be." I have only known her for 3 short years but learned so much from her in that short time. What a wonderfully sweet lady. It was an honor to know her.

So i see that only Shay and I and Cheli and oh some oriental dude posted comments on this blog. How sad that we here more from some chinaman than we do from our own family.
Come on family get with it.
Exciting weekend for Me, Cheli, Shay, Bonnie and Toni and Cassie are coming but don't know if they are as excited as we are to go to the Scrapbook Expo. Fun!

Well that's all for now.
See you in another 2 months. Ha Ha!

New Years Resolutions

Just dreaming of summer
So how many of you made resolutions?

How many of you have already broken them?

I didn't make any resolutions. I made commitments.

I commit myself to be better at my scripture study.

Sounds simple right, NOT! I have only studied 2 days this month.

Need to work on that a little bit.

So tell me what you are committed to this year?

Oh i did clean out my kitchen closet, that was one of my goals. With the help of Doyle. I think he got tired of the gift bags falling out on his head every time he got in the closet to get any of his fishing gear. LOL.

Well good luck with your commitments, resolutions, goals.

Love ya

Deb

Lake Trout (Macanaw)

I don't think this fish is smiling anymore.

Well Leland eat your heart out.
This fish measured about 28 inches long and weighed about 10 lbs.
Doyle and the bishop decided to go over to Bear Lake because he knew the Mac were running. They dressed warm and hit the shore. Doyle had about 5 bites and only landed this one. He was a fighter. But man did he have fun. He wants to go again. The bishop was stiff and sore all over this morning from his fishing adventures, but not Doyle. He is ready to go again. The bishop caught one just a tad smaller than Doyle's.
