Hi everyone,or should i just say Hi to those of you that read this blog which seems to be 1 or 2 of you. Leland here and I'm checking on suggestions for the reunion. we have had some great ideas and are going to put a letter together to send out to everyone soon, so if you have any ideas please let us know soon. I want this to be a great time for everyone so think about it. Thanks to those of you that have contributed to Tavias missionary fund . We really appreciate it. Hi, Leland here again. I'm writing this post to let everyone know Tavias address so you can write her. It is, Sister Tavia Whitney Wilcox Mississippi Jackson Mission 681Town center BLVD Ste C Rig land,Ms 39157-4903. Their it is so everyone write her she would love to here from all of u.Also please send Ideas for Reunion. I would like this to be one to never forget. I do like the Idea of a shooting contest skeet and 22s and pistols. Terence has 2 new pistols and would love too show us up. Till we talk again this is Leland signing off.

Leland here. I'm putting together an itinerary for our Wilcox family reunion in July. if any one has any ideas please let me know. I'm thinking of a family softball game, a pie eating contest and a corn on the cob eating contest,a basketball shooting contest, maybe guitar hero contest a fishing contest . if you have any more ideas let me know . i also would like to do a family home evening on the 20th. I'm trying to make a full week out of it and hope that everyone can make most of it. BOOTS

Well i was blog hopping. That is my past time now that i don't work. YIKES!

Anyway i came across these boots and they reminded me of Toni.

When we were on the coast she found this really cute pair of boots that she wishes she would have bought. They were way cute!!!! But when would she ever where them except along the beach digging for clams. Not likely in Utah.

So these are for you Toni.

What can you tell me about this chair?

I remember climbing on the back of it and combing dads hair.

I remember it always being in the kitchen in the corner by the refrigerator.

Grandma sitting in it in the morning after dad had gone to work and being in it all day, working on her braided rugs. Or sitting across from me while i was learning how to make a cake and telling me what not to do. We always called it Grandma's chair. But really it is the family chair.

I remember when dad passed away and Terence, Mondie and I came home, mom was sitting in this chair crying and we all gatherd around her and hugged her and cried so hard.

I remember dad sitting in this chair and mom coming and sitting on his lap.

I start to cry now just remembering the memories of "Grandma's chair".
